Hosea 14:7-9

⁸ Ephraim, why should I^[a] have anything more
to do with idols?^(C)
It is I who answer and watch over him.
I am like a flourishing pine tree;^(D)
your fruit comes from Me.^(E)

⁹ Let whoever is wise^(F) understand these things,
and whoever is insightful recognize them.
For the ways of the Lord are right,^(G)
and the righteous walk in them,^(H)
but the rebellious stumble in them.^(I)
